So we told you a few weeks ago about former F1 hotshot David Coulthard racing down a golf ball in aMercedes-Benz SLS AMG, setting some sort of goofy world record in the process. Well, now we have video of the feat.
While you watch the footage, we encourage you to consider just how a hybrid of golf and racing might work. We think it could have legs as a professional sport, although the feasibility of setting up such a tour would be daunting – clearly golf courses wouldn’t be too keen on the fairway damage. Still, the TV broadcasts would be so much more exciting than tuning into the PGA and automakers sponsor much more ridiculous stunts.
